Dr. Rich Bevan-Thomas
Dr. Rich Bevan-Thomas has advanced training in state-of-the-art technologies in his specialty areas, which include robotic surgery, prostate cancer, BPH/enlarged prostate, and renal and prostate cryoablation. He began performing robotic surgery immediately after graduating from MD Anderson in 2002. At that time, only a handful of surgeons had experience with surgical robotics. He has used that expertise in leading-edge technology to help thousands of patients evaluate and solve their most personal problems for the past 20 years.
Dr. B-T has worked as a consultant for Intuitive Surgical for the daVinci robot and continues to give feedback to the company for future development. He is a Center of Excellence provider of robotics in his group, Urology Partners of North Texas, one of the most preeminent urology groups in North Texas. He has also earned Center of Excellence status in Urolift technology in the field of BPH, or the enlarged prostate.
Dr. B-T continues to provide general urology care for his patients, as well, including treating kidney stones and vasectomies.
